Where Skateboarding, Cannabis, + Culture Collide 

The New Dia Cannabis Skateboarding Event at the Cannabis Mall in Fenway brought together a dope mix of skaters, cannabis culture, and live entertainment, creating an unforgettable experience in the heart of Boston.

I was on my way back from New Hampshire and made sure I checked out their event. Immediately as I walked in, I was able to enjoy the chill vibes of the community, music, as I mingled and captured the raw energy and skate tricks. Smiles all around as people spectated and enjoyed some of Best Day Brewing non alcoholic beverages. 

The New Dia Cannabis skateboarding competition featured a custom-built setup where skaters dropped in, launched kickflips, and nailed rail slides, keeping the crowd hyped throughout the day. Boston’s own underground skate scene showed up in full force, making for some killer shots of mid-air grabs, ollies, and high-speed grinds. The energy was palpable, and I was there to document every moment—from the adrenaline-fueled stunts to the candid moments of camaraderie.

As the tail end of the comp, Yung_Sway took home First Place and $1000 prize leaving everyone buzzing. 

What made this event an unforgettable experience, is that it was held at the innovative Cannabis Mall in Fenway, which is Boston's first 21 plus mall located in Boston.

With the growing crossover between action sports and cannabis culture, this event showcased the synergy between wellness, performance, and creativity in a way that you don't typically see.
